Pedaling Uphill July 21, 2008

My Boss DS-1 just came in the mail, and I forgot how much that thing added to my sound back when my old one worked. My TR-2 and DD-3 should be here shortly, since it’s been 6 days since I’ve paid the seller for them.
I’ve decided that once I buy a Little Alligator Volume Pedal and a Vox Wah, I’m going to sell my Line6 for $150. Because once I have distortion, tremolo, delay, volume, and wah, I have all of the effects that I used often on the Line6, in a better tone and physical form.
With the money I get from the Line6, I hope to buy a Boss CS-3 Compressor Sustainer pedal and a MXR Phase 90. Somewhere in there I’ll buy a pedalboard, probably a CNB extra wide. Another thing I’d like to have is a Danelectro EQ pedal. I’ll probably wait on that one until I actually need it, though. Right now my amp has decent EQ settings to satisfy me.
Another thing I need is a decent amp. Ugh, playing guitar is an expensive hobby if you want to do it right.
