Two days ago I ordered a replacement Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal since I kind of blew up the first one. (Note to self: check ac-adapter voltages before plugging in to avoid smoke) My dad’s friend gave me a $25 gift certificate to Musician’s Friend as payback for my dad buying him REO Speekwagon tickets, so I only had to pay $15 on that, which is set at $40 retail.

And today, thanks to the wonders of eBay, I just bought a Boss TR-2 Tremolo Pedal for $60 and a Boss DD-3 Digital Delay pedal for $80. A Tremolo costs $90 retail and a Digital Delay costs $130 retail. Of course, both of these pedals we’re used, but judging from the pictures that the seller had of them, they were in pretty good shape and didn’t have any noticable scratches or dents. So I think I got a pretty good deal.

So I just bought $260 in guitar pedals for only $155. Heh heh heh.
