iFoot January 22, 2008

I’ve noticed that Apple products have become the kings of stating the obvious, with all of their Macintosh computers being called iMac, and also being shipped preloaded with all kinds of software with simple titles like iMovie, iPhoto, iTunes, and the works. But why is it that their staple product, the iPod, makes no sense? I learned from taking a biology class last semester that Pod is the Latin word for “foot.” So why is it that you look at pictures in iPhoto, complile your music on iTunes, and listen to yout music on your iFoot? Makes no sense to me. Unless they mean “Pod” as in those big egg things that we’re in the 1998 Godzilla movie. In that case, perfect sense.
Sorry about the short blog today, I’ve been wanting to write about that for a while, but always had a lot more to write about. I’m at a friends house for the week, so expect short blogs like this for a while.
